nondogDV's basic philosophy is small is beautiful and variety is the spice of life.  We're a small business ourselves and since this business hinges so much on understanding your subject - usually the clients themselves - we feel we can do the best job for people like ourselves - small groups and small businesses.  Not to say that we would dismiss any job out of hand or that we are virulently anti-corporation! (nondogDV has completed many successful projects for corporations).  It's about culture - and corporate culture generally isn't our bag!  

nondogDV is structured in such a way that we can keep overheads to a minimum resulting in affordable rates for quality work.  We do this by structuring ourselves as a network independant professionals sharing premises and an identity.  That way you don't pay for the whole group to undertake a job that could be done by one or two people - we only bill you for the people actually doing the work.  The buisness takes a cut of the total income for bare-bones expenses.  The individual members of the network are responsible for purchasing and maintaining the gear they need to do their part of the work.  The upside of this is that the client gets the range of services of a full-fledged media production house at little more than professional freelance rates.
