nondogDV was born late in 2001 due to a convergence of ideology and a synergy of talent between Troy McLachlan and Clive Keep. For Troy (camera, directing, script writing) it was a continuation of his dogged ambition to 'make films'. For Clive (post-production, writing, props) it was a natural extension to his work with computers involving website design and 3D animation.

Both have a history involving a variety of creative projects and enterprises. Troy - mostly music, TV and the visual arts. Clive - in sculpture, design and a good few years in the real world of making and building.
